After completing a bachelor's degree in broadcast production at Cedarville College in Ohio, Bill earned a master's in Television/Radio/Film at Syracuse University. He decided on a career in multimedia software development after his first encounter with the subject in a course at Syracuse. Following his work as a developer on several multimedia reference titles with Multicom Publishing in Seattle, Bill accepted a position with Microsoft as a program manager. He is now lead program manager and works with a talented team of people creating interactive training software. Bill's after-work activities include writing about technology and playing with his two boys. Originally from New York, he currently lives in Edgewood, Washington, with his wife, Jodie, and their two sons, Cody and Ryan.
