Dear apache webserver, ;-) I am interested in online learning since ten years as you can check by the following link http://www.informatik.hu-berlin.de/~neuendor/algebra/lernsys/mainpage.html There, I started developing a so called interactive multi-media hypertext based learning system for algebra together with a group of students in 1994. Now this year, I like to return to proper e-learning using scientific methods and knowledge on cognitive and pedagogic issues. I have already collected a lot of material from the web and from books in libraries in the last month for a seminar on e-learning I will give in the spring term this year at Humboldt university. The topic of my seminar is ' theory and praxis of e-learning ', where the practical part concerns the development of an interactive platform for teaching theoretical computer science using webMathematica. I plan to use the many models and algorithms I coded in Mathematica during the last years as teaching assistent of the lecture Introduction of theoretical computer science for students of our institute. If another project I applied for is successful, I also like to combine e-learning with web-bot technology. So I hope my approach fits in your setting and I am looking forward to interesting discussions and projects.
