COOKIES

as passing my webmastertraining, internet content provider, we learned that there are cookies.
could you please give me information about cookies, what cookies do and what is the need of it according to html.
nevertheless im looking for information.
html will cange to xml, that might be sure.

      There are diffrent kind of cookies. You can find an easy overview of 3 kinds of cookies at this site:

      It also explain in easy word other threats to you privacy on the Internet today. In the end you will find how you can delete cookies from your computer.

      Tells even a bit about how to restrict the cookies you want to be saved on your computer. All the cookies on the net aren't good (maybe not in the real life either) so sometimes it's good to know which hosts are trying to set up cookies on your computer.
