rdesktop tunneling through SSH

As an example i will set up a RDP through SSH connection to where you require an account.

connection data

RDP target:
SSH server:
Login server: LOCALMATH


requirements: package rdesktop

ssh -l username -C -L
in a new terminal: rdesktop -f localhost:9999


Get yourself putty and edit in Connection -> SSH -> Tunnels

Now press Add and change to Session where you input the SSH server ( and select protocol SSH. If you want to, you can save it. Now press open and you are nearly done.

Start up remote Desktop located in Utilities -> Communication in your startmenu and input localhost:9999 .
