Background

Since the June of 2011 I am an Ph.D. student in the German Research Foundation (DFG) funded research training group "Model-Based Development of Technologies for Self-Organizing Decentralized Information Systems in Disaster Management" (METRIK) at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

I received my diploma degree (equivalent to bachelor of science with honours) in computer science in February 2009 from University of Applied Sciences Wiesbaden. In October 2010 I received my masters degree at the same university. During my studies I worked as research assistant at the Distributed Systems Lab at the University of Applied Sciences Wiesbaden.

From August 2006 to Februar 2007 I was an intern at the Communications Infrastructure and Management Group at the Telecommunications Software and Systems Group (TSSG) in Waterford, Ireland. From July to December 2014 I was a guest researcher at the Networked Embedded Systems Group (NES) at the SICS Swedish ICT (SICS) in Stockholm, Sweden. My research stay at SICS was supported by a grant from the DAAD.

My advisors are Joachim Fischer and Mesut Günes.
