2.1 Getting started

As a rule you should create a directory on your hard drive and copy the INA -executable into this directory. For the necessary operations, please refer to your operating system's manual.

For any file it needs, INA searches the directory from which it was started; it also saves its files into this directory. Should you be working with several different types of nets at the same time, it is recommendable to create sub-directories for each net or net type. Since in this way, the current options are saved separately, it will not be necessary to select them again each time, because it is sufficient to change the directory and restart the program.

The directory in which the executable file of INA was placed should be recorded in the search path.
