the layout of a possible tupel stream source.

If the record source happens to be a table reference then we can easily assign a hint on the type of the field and possibly more of its attributions. If it is a join expression then the tupel layout would need to be computed from that operation. Due to lack of time, we can not handle a join operator as a record source which does inadvertibly beat any field type assignments to hell. Sorry, and if there is someone with some time then please make a computation for the join operator and have each sql record field resolve to its column in the source schema tables.

Furthermore, remember that even after computing down a schema column the actual record field value might be the result of an operation - including aggregators. What counts is the result type of that operation of course. Computing the list of functions and tables involved has an advantage in that we could automatically compute interdependencies of sources - which in turn will allow to detect a possible parallel execution of mapping operations.

Well stop all those interesting things at a more simple task - the possibility to compute identical or overlapping input stream sources for a record builder as to possibly combine two mapping operations into a single execution loop over one actual cursor on the backend. Well, even that is not yet implemented but it is much easier and its implementation would provide some of the basic functionality needed for the real interesting resolution functions above.
