Reliability and Performance of Service-Oriented Architectures

Reliability and Performance of Service-Oriented Architectures

The paradigm shift towards Service-Oriented Architectures (SOAs) is causing fundamental changes to the technical and socio-economic structure of Internet applications. Users employ services from diverse providers, dynamically recombining them to build new services suited to their particular needs. Maintenance and administration of these combined services, however, are out of each participant's reach.

This DFG-funded project targets the specific quality of service issues arising from this new situation. We aim to provide a means of improving the reliability and performance of combined services. Read more about our research here.

We are a subgroup of the chair of computer architecture and communication of Prof. Miroslaw Malek, led by Dr Katinka Wolter. Find out more about the people involved here.
