This workshop is a seminar series organised every even year by Humboldt University of Berlin and every odd year by Warsaw University. In 2004 it has been co-organised by the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow. Following its tradition dating back to the mid-seventies, we intend to retain its not very formal character. That is why extended abstracts as preliminary outlines of intended talks are requested, rather than full drafts. The Organizing and Programme Committee will select the abstracts and notify the authors about acceptance.
