Welcome to the web page of the 11th International Workshop on Combinatorial Image Analysis. Prior meetings took place in Paris (France, 1991), Ube (Japan, 1992), Washington DC (USA, 1994), Lyon (France, 1995), Hiroshima (Japan, 1997), Madras (India, 1999), Caen (France, 2000), Philadelphia (USA, 2001), Palermo (Italy, 2003) and Auckland (New Zealand, 2004).

This edition was held in Berlin (Germany, 19-21 June 2006), at Humboldt-Universität. The workshop was endorsed by the IAPR and the DAGM.

The IWCIA'06 conference events started with a pre-conference trip to Potsdam-Telegraphenberg (101 years Einstein's Theory of Relativity). Also a conference reception was held at the German Aerospace Center (Adlershof campus).
The conference dinner took place on board of the excursion boat MS Olympia.
